  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Subject line and message content
  • Product interest (for example, a specific detector model or a general inquiry)
  • Any other information you choose to include in your message or attachments you send by email

If you email or call us directly using the addresses or phone number published on the Site, we will also process the information contained in that communication.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting environment and WordPress platform may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device and operating system information
  • Referring/exit pages and URLs visited on the Site
  • Date and time of access
  • General location derived from IP address (city/region level, if provided by infrastructure logs)

This information is typically collected in server logs and used for security, troubleshooting, and Site reliability. We do not currently operate a separate advertising or analytics pixel program on the Site.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for WordPress and Site functionality, including:

  • Essential / functional cookies used by WordPress to operate the Site (for example, to keep an administrator logged in)
  • Form-related session data associated with submitting our contact form (Contact Form 7)
  • Preference or security cookies that may be set by WordPress or security/hosting tooling

We do not use the Site to run third-party advertising cookies. If we later add analytics or marketing tools that use non-essential cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide notice or choice mechanisms.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested product or business information
  • Understand which products or solutions you are interested in
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights
  • Communicate with you about your request, quotes, training, logistics, or related business matters

We do not sell personal information.

4. How Contact Form Submissions Are Handled

Our Contact page uses Contact Form 7. When you submit the form:

  • Your submission is emailed to our team (including Clay@iEDdetect.com)
  • A copy of the submission may also be stored in our WordPress admin using the Flamingo plugin so we can track and respond to inquiries
  • Message content and product-interest selections are retained as part of our business communications records

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and communications (for example, website hosting, email delivery, domain/DNS, and WordPress-related plugins such as Contact Form 7, Flamingo, Advanced Custom Fields, and Yoast SEO)
  • Professional advisors such as legal or accounting counsel, when reasonably necessary
  • Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections

Our manufacturer partners (such as VALLON or SEMA WORLD) are linked from the Site for informational purposes. Clicking those links takes you to third-party websites governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control those sites.

6. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and communication records for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, or compliance requirements. Server logs are generally retained for a shorter operational period determined by our hosting environment. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business and professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age is required). If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email Clay@iEDdetect.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You can also:

  • Choose not to submit the contact form or optional fields (such as phone or product interest)
  • Control cookies through your browser settings (disabling essential cookies may affect Site functionality)
  • Unsubscribe from any future marketing emails we may send (transactional replies to your inquiries are separate)

10. International Visitors

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
